First in our home, forever in our hearts
Jewel was an incredible gift from Arlene Pietrocola to her grandchildren. She was the dog that led two more family generations into the show ring and breeding. Jewel allowed us to make rookie mistakes, commit numerous grooming faux pas, drag her to shows instead of relaxing at home, rack up frequent flier miles, and be shown by two junior handlers at every show.
Jewel completed her AKC championship in just 3 months, and produced the top OES bitch of 2006 (Ch. Windfall Destiny’s Child). Her legacy continues with two more generations in the Gompertz and Pietrocola households. Jewel charmed every person she met with an uncommon gentleness, an offered paw, and the most demure kisses ever given by an OES.
